Deep bass, without cables
It’s just you, your music, and your stylish beats
Set your palpitation racing with wobbling bass. important 40 mm neodymium motorists combine with Beat Response Control and an Electro Bass Booster to reproduce the thump and exhilaration of club sound. And with erected- in Bluetooth ®, you ’ll noway need solicitude about cables getting in the way as you dance to your favourite tracks.
The counterculturists over at Sony have been over to no good recently. After a string of new headphones released in 2014, Sony has shelled out another for us in the form of a Bluetooth movable called the XB950BT.
This bonehas really shocked me with what they ’ve made possible in Bluetooth technology. This boneis a keeper, no mistrustfulness about it, and fluently one of the better$ 200 headphones out there.
Make AND ACCESSORIES
The XB950BT is veritably comfortable and light at only 280g. Got ta ’ admit it’s so veritably stimulating to have a headphone that not only sounds this good but also one that’s veritably comfortable and intelligently designed from an surface point of view.
One intriguing thing I ’ve set up that nothing told me about and that no other critic has covered was that the fast forward, break and rewind function button on the right observance mugs can open Windows Media Player automatically, cycling through songs without the need for a mouse and keyboard via fluttering that FF/ RW button.
It spooked the crap out of me when I ’d accidentally pressed it one day and had my WMP program pop up without me ever touching the keyboard or mouse.
This function is due to the BT dongle I bought for the PC, but it also might be a universal thing with any BT dongle intended for the PC that dyads with the Sony XB950BT. stupendous stuff, completely hands-free music, track skip, and break functions at long last. Praised be to the audio gods.
Emotional for a$ 200 wired headphone, yet this headphone is also a Bluetooth headphone that absolutely is the undisputed stylish BT headphone I ’ve ever endured.
Not to knock Koss’s recent BT headphone, as it was decent, but this Sony has really raised the bar to a position I did n’t anticipate to hear in a BT headphone for some time. Scratch that, noway anticipated BT to sound this good. There simply are no solid, weighted, and thick sounding Bluetooth headphones that I’m apprehensive of, all of them sound thin and breathless, generally bright and coarse as well.
The bass on this headphone is extreme, this is in fact one of the utmost bass-heavy headphones I ’ve come across in a while and I love it. Via BT enabled, the Bass Booster button on the left observance mug becomes available.
Starting off with a veritably potent bass, to begin with, the Booster function ups it to silly situations too important actually but damned if it is n’t extremely delightful. I had no idea Bass like this was indeed possible in a Bluetooth headphone, compare and discrepancy for yourselves if you get the chance.
Holy smokes that’s some serious bass. Although the volume is high, punchy, and extremely tasty, the overall clarity is just okay with the Booster active. The Bluetooth experience isn’t as good as the wired connection however, which seems more noticeably clear when paired with the likes of my FiiO X1 and SR71B via Line eschewal.
WHAT I DON’T LIKE
Hard to judge a sub$ 199 headphone for not having real leather pads, but the study looms in the reverse of my mind at all times. Not important venting in the design allows for the heat to make up, the consistence of the pads is n’t helping that issue out moreover.
Despite being veritably comfortable, my cognizance do sweat a bit after about an hour of operation. I’m also not fond of the included string, it’s veritably cheap but I’m veritably thankful it is n’t a personal string that nothing differently can be used to replace it. I ’d have preferred a better string than this and will presumably try to upgrade soon.
I ’ve set up the included string to be too thin, also too prone to cold rainfall.
Had some 32F nights then in Cleveland lately and the stock string becomes immensely stiff snappily. Seems as though the covering is incredibly prone to cold rainfall. I wish the headphone were suitable to indicate that Bass Booster via the wired connection, sad that it’s only available for Bluetooth enabled harkening.
